What are the post count levels for, and how do you gain levels? I`m pretty sure 10 posts is level 2 and 30 posts is level 3, but what about the others?

Why don't you just try to find out as you post? ;)
It's not like you post just to get at a higher level...

Or you can wait for Rolken (or anyone else who happen to know) to answer you too. =P

There are no new poster levels after 30 messages.

Otherwise we'd have people spamming all the forums at once just to get 1000, and that is no good.

They're... um... whatever the default is. Apparently 10 and 20 gain you dots. I think they're silly so I took them off the topics, but I haven't taken them out entirely yet. Aside from the pride of having more dots, they mean absolutely nothing.

The karma system never really works, so it's a good thing you don't gain the ability to post _ topics or _ messages when u reach a new level. I find that annoying.... although, those sites have very low spam......and yet, is it worth it?
Wait, I don't have dots. Where are my precious dots?
